As part of our commitment to the national campaign Dying Matters Awareness Week, we are offering a free big conversations work mat ©’ session to one lucky organisation.

This year Dying Matters concentrates on the workplace and how we need to remove the stigma and support those dealing with ill health, loss and grief.

The huunuu work mat raises questions about life, death and legacy and our proven experiential methodology helps participants to begin to think about what they need to get in place before they die. Impactful and meaningful, the work mat session will help to normalise the big conversations in the workplace. We work with many organisations helping them with their wellbeing, mental health and resilience programmes and our training can be a real asset to an organisation’s wellbeing strategy.

We will come and deliver the session at your place of work if you are in London or any of the surrounding counties on the 9th or 10th May. You provide the location and time (allow for 2/3 hours), and we will come and deliver one session worth over £2k absolutely free of charge for group of between 6-100 delegates.

How to take part

To be in with a chance of being the lucky organisation that we come and deliver to, simply:

Email: [email protected] with your name, location, organisation, size of your team and the answer to the question – Why is talking about death in the workplace important? (this is the theme of the national Dying Matters Week 2023).We’ll read each and every submission you send and enter you into the free prize draw which will be chosen at random.

If talking about death in the workplace is important to the wellbeing of your organisation and you want to share this with others, please share or retweetand tag. The more we start normalising these conversations, the better our workplaces will become!

On the Dying Matters website it states:

‘57% of employees will have experienced a bereavement in the last five years and every day, more than 600 people quit work to look after older and disabled relatives.

And yet, fewer than one in five managers feel very confident supporting someone they manage with a bereavement.’
